The GNESD Steering Committee makes operational decisions on Network
activities within the policies and work programme agreed by the
Network Assembly and provides policy guidance and support to the GNESD
Secretariat between Assembly meetings. Together with the Secretariat
it prepares the rolling two year strategic plan, work programme,
progress reports, and other documents to be submitted to the Network
Assembly. The Committee also identifies opportunities for promoting
the results of the Network’s activities including identifying and
inviting Centre to become Network members.
